Qom Boys achieve Rugby Championship Under-18s

This was the end of the championship of the country under the age of 18s.

On Friday, August 11 2017, at a 15,000-man stadium in Gorgan, the U18 boys tag Rugby competitions were held.

The Qom team won the title of these championships, while the teams of Datis and Golestan took second and third places respectively.

The supervisor of the tournament was Naeem Gharabi, technical supervisor of Farshid Sedighi and referees Mustafa Eftekhari, Amir Hossein Ampour, Mohammad Hassan Homayouni.

Morteza Rasouli, the head coach of the national team, was also present at the tournament. He observed the players and has selected some for the upcoming games for the national team.

At the closing ceremony of the awards ceremony by the Iran Rugby President Dr. H. Mirza Agha Baik, accompanied by deputy of sport in the province of Golestan and chairman of the sports association of Golestan province, and Ms. Hosseini-chairman of the Rugby Committee of Golestan,
Mr. Mehdi Hasanali - First Secretary of the Iran Rugby Association, Naeem Gharabi-Chairman of the Development Committee and Morteza Rasouli-he national team head coach.

At the end, we thank specially Dr. Nazanin Hosseini, chairman of the Rugby Committee of Golestan, who helped the Rugby Association to hold these Rugby competitions for U18 boys and girls.
