Iran Rugby’s good fortune to receive a visit by National Scottish Rugby Players!

The recent visits of two players in the Scottish national team in Iran have been warmly received.
Iran Rugby President Dr. H. Mirza Agha Biak said we take this visit as our good fortune. He said; first of all, I have to thank Mrs. Margaret Ryan, the manager of Mohr Makes Kara Company for helping this visit to happen. I also wish to thank Mr. Amirpour, Head of the country's sports’ federations with the Ministry of Sports and Youth. I think that Iran Rugby’s current progress has become more pronounced during this visit. Our foreign guests saw at firsthand the impressive ability of some of the Rugby players and referees from Teheran province. Further visits to players around the nation would have helped to demonstrate the level and the great potential of Iran as an emerging Rugby nation.
We are certain that if Iran Rugby receives greater support & better development plans, it can achieve great new heights at the Olympics and at the Asian level. We hope as a first step, our national team preparations are fully supported for the upcoming games at Jakarta.
I also thank Mr. Salami, the head of the Teheran rugby committee of the province and his colleagues who made the Tehran Friendship Cup possible.
Finally, Stay tuned for more news from Iran Rugby and Mohr Makes Kara Company.
